Jennifer S. Kovar graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Anthropology and Women’s Studies. She earned a Fulbright Scholarship to attend the University of Frankfurt in Germany in 2001. In 2007, she graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law with her J.D. Jennifer went on to practice in the world of corporate law before she decided to strike out on her own and began Kovar Law Firm, LLC.

For over a decade, Jennifer has been dedicated to bringing high quality and personalized estate planning and administration to the St. Louis community. This includes wills, trusts, powers of attorney for property and finance, and a variety of health care documents.  Jennifer also provides legal services for LGBTQIA+ folks, such as drafting business formation documents, assisting in many ancillary real estate matters, and helping with name changes and gender marker changes.  Jennifer is known across the St. Louis area for her community involvement, from election protection to name and gender marker change clinics with local organizations. Jennifer’s work for the community goes well beyond her professional services as she serves on or has served on the boards of the Gateway Business Guild (St. Louis’ LGBTQIA+ Chamber of Commerce), STL Village, Confluence Academy Charter Schools, and St. Louis Frontrunners. She is also a member of the Anti-Racist Organizing Collective of St. Louis.
